Jeff Rozanski

Hockey Director

Jeff Rozanski grew up in Rolling Meadows and played his youth hockey for the Northwest Chargers. Prior to joining the Jr. Trevians program as a coach, Jeff coached at the Chargers and Blues programs, with multiple teams winning Central States (CS) championships or finishing in the top three in State at the PeeWee and Bantam levels.

In 2022-2023, Jeff was the head coach of our 2008 CS Bantam team that finished 3rd in State at the Bantam AA level. In addition to his team coaching, Jeff has taught power skating and skills to both Tier 1 and Tier 2 players for many years.

In 2023, Jeff joined the program in an expanded role as Director of Player Development where his passion for developing players and growing their love of the game of hockey helped contribute to the continued growth and success of the program. In the 2023-2024 season, the 2012 PeeWee Minor CS team, for which he was head coach, placed 2nd in state. The 2013 Squirt Major CS team placed 2nd in state, and the Squirt NIHL team won the Squirt B State Championship. In 2024, Jeff became the hockey director.

Jeff has been married to Anders Rozanski for more than 20 years. His son Jeffrey Rozanski is playing 16U AAA for Team Illinois, and his son Jacob Rozanski is playing Junior hockey in the USPHL for Chicago Crush, pursuing his advacement in junior hockey and coaching with the Jr. Trevians.




Bill Martin

Mite Hockey Director

Bill Martin is joining the Jr. Trevians in Spring 2025 as Mite Hockey Diretor. Bill previously coached for Wilmette and has over 40+ years of experience, specializing in mites since 1991. He returns to Wilmette after spending the last 3 years at Winnetka. 

Bill grew up playing his youth hockey in Oak Park, and then for the Fenwick High School team where he later became the head coach. Coach Bill is a level 5 coach who has coached with all ages from beginners to AAA, ACHA and USHL. Over his coaching career, Bill's teams have won three state titles and three of his teams have qualified for nationals. Several of his players have moved on to college and professional hockey including Matt Jones, Jed Ortmeyer, Brandon Sutter and JT Compher.

In his role as Mite Hockey Director, Bill will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our mite hockey programs including our Little Blackhawks sessions, Mini Mite and Mite House, and Mite Travel. He will also be working with the Wilmette Park District to help develop a partnership around Learn-to-Skate and Learn-to-Play programming.




Cory Hextall

Co-Skills Director

Cory Hextall brings over 25 years of youth coaching experience at the AA and AAA levels to the Jr. Trevians. He joined the program in Spring 2024 and will be taken on an expanded role in the program, including coaching a second team and co-leading our weekly skills skates with Hockey Director Jeff Rozanski.

Cory has coached Mite through Bantam aged teams as well as being a Skills and Power Skating instructor at various organizations. His coaching experience includings working with numerous hockey players that have went on to play Junior, Div 1 College and Professional.

His approach focuses on the USA Hockey Development Model and teaching skills and decision making at early ages, along with simple concepts. This includes working on puck possession in small area games to further enhance skills and decision making.

Cory's playing career began as a youth player through Junior A hockey in Saskatchewan, Canada. He continued his hockey career as a Division 1 College hockey player for 4 years, serving as Team Captain in his Senior year. He was also a Graduate Assistant Coach while completing his degree in Mechanical Engineering.
